Learning Sciences International (learningsciences.com) is hiring a senior-level Web Developer / Webmaster to provide strategy and execution of the company's online, e-commerce, and other innovative deliveries of content.

In this role, you own the re-launch of an entirely refreshed website in 2018, including our online bookstore and engaging content strategies. You will advance our shared mission, to change the effectiveness of/in K-12 education'empowering educators to get information, training, and products proven to raise grades in our schools.

We need a talented, experienced Web Developer having hands-on strengths in Google Analytics, landing pages and Click Funnel-style marketing, plus SEO and SEM. You know what "A/B Testing" means. You don't have to do everything yourself'but we need a Brainiac with good taste to determine the right platforms, plug-ins, long-term content management strategies, website traffic-building, and lead generation campaigns.

You will work with an incredible team of creatives, brand management, product management, and more. This is a flat, low-ego culture that values your talents and expertise. You May Be a Great Fit for the Role if You...

  • Create website traffic plans and goals that increase website traffic.
  • Have a passion for measuring and analyzing digital campaign performance via Google Analytics, CVENT, Salesforce, and other cool systems, to ensure we can measure success.
  • Know how to create and/or manage an SEO and SEM strategy.
  • Know what makes sense to do in-house vs. outsource'and how to select and manage contractors in a professional manner.
  • Have demonstrable, hands-on expertise in WordPress and/or other platforms and CMS, JavaScript, CSS, e-commerce and gateway, etc. Be ready to talk shop if you get an interview!
  • Have creative sensibilities'working with our creative team and leveraging our many content/graphics assets while staying "on-brand."

Your Role

  • Help lead the development and re-launch of learningsciences.com in 2018.
  • Have a voice in our broader content and ecommerce strategy and execution'including our multi-million dollar books and publishing business!
  • Ensure our website performs optimally by knowing the backend fundamentals (tags, code hygiene, integrations, etc.), while running regular reports and watching dashboards.
  • Monitor our organic keyword rankings and provide content suggestions to the creative team for enhancing our position.
  • Provide recommendations on enhancing the website based on flow of inbound traffic to improve quality and customer experience based on best practices.
  • Generate monthly reports on digital marketing campaigns and website performance.
  • Ensure all digital advertising placements are correctly set up for tracking performance.
  • Help support marketing automation templates implementation, layout, development.
  • Co-manage paid search agency.
  • Research new digital advertising channels and vendors.
  • Monitor and stay current on industry digital marketing trends, tools and resources.
  • Create and maintain responsive, adaptive design for all web and ecommerce. (CSS, HTML, etc., may be required)

 

Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years in a digital marketing role is a MUST-HAVE.
  • Expert-level knowledge WordPress and/or other critical platforms.
  • Strong demonstrable knowledge of how to use Google Analytics required.
  • Hands-on experience in growing quality traffic to a website, increasing organic rankings on keywords, and setting up reporting method that we can use to continuously improve.
  • Full understanding of SEO and how to improve it'or how to ensure someone does it right for us.
  • Self-starter able to multi-task with competing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • SEO tool experience required (SEMrush, Wordtracker, DeepCrawl, etc.)
  • Marketing automation experience preferred (Salesforce, Marketo, landing page/form builders, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools preferred
